About the Role:
Sproutr LLC is looking for an experienced Filing Analyst to support new product innovation and growth.
Sproutr is a new, first of its kind underwriting and product building firm who exists to accelerate and support insurance-focused companies and Insurtechs in need of “builder” skills. We are subject-matter experts in our respective disciplines and look to use that experience in a more integrated, holistic manner.

We are looking for a self-described and motivated insurance nerd who has proven, technical insurance skills wanting to tilt their practical underwriting experience towards the next generation of underwriting in the Insurance/Insurtech space.
The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely wants to advance the insurance industry by applying their experience in new ways. You will be joining a company designed to launch new insurance products/programs.
This role reports to the Filings and Compliance Manager.
What you’ll do:
Support the filing services function by drafting or revising new commercial insurance coverage forms, endorsements, amendments to endorsements, create amendatory forms, exclusions, notices and content used to support admitted product filings
Prepare filing submittals balancing the needs of Sproutr’s clients and compliance with state filing requirements
Provide opinions on filing projects to business units to help inform the format of the project, timing and approaches to use
Support winning filing strategies based on your experience working with the state DOI’s and examiners
Work with cross-functional team members as required to assemble the component parts of a submission-ready filing packet; such as actuarial, data modeling, sales, coverage counsel, operational and technical product management / engineering teams
Address and manage incoming and outgoing objections, reprioritize and manage deadlines as required

Qualifications:
Experience with multiple lines of business within Commercial Property, Casualty and Specialty Lines
Experience with bureau and non-bureau based products
Recent and direct experience working within a regulatory filings unit or function
Regulatory filing, insurance product development, insurance product management, or compliance background
Experience working within a Property & Casualty (P&C) carrier, insurance consultancy practice, or Insurtech
Project management and governance, ability to effectively manage multiple projects with the ability to prioritize high-impact work
Operational mindset, you know how the pieces fit together
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Word, Excel
Experience with SERFF (System of Electronic Rate and Forms Filing), other product/filing authoring programs, INSource/NILS, or similar regulatory resources
