About the Role:

Sproutr LLC is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to support new product innovation and growth. This is a contract position.

No Agencies.

Sproutr is a new, first of its kind underwriting and product building firm who exists to accelerate and support insurance-focused companies and Insurtechs in need of “builder” skills. We are subject-matter experts in our respective disciplines and look to use that experience in a more integrated, holistic manner.

You will be a part of building across different projects at various stages of our clients’ evolution without the pressure of start-up flash. We are insurance veterans who LOVE insurance; looking to clear the path for insurance entrepreneurs.

This role reports to the Operations Manager.

What you’ll do:

● Establish a talent acquisition strategy for both active and passive sourcing, and resource planning

● Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and writing job descriptions

● Using innovative methods, source target candidates, and conduct applicant screening interviews to assess their qualifications and cultural fit

● Identify top candidates and reach out to them directly outside of inbound applications

● Provide a best-in-class experience for candidates with an efficient yet high-touch end-to-end process

● Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and internal team, and manage activities from sourcing through to onboarding

● Assist in development of any HR policies and updates to existing due to changes in employment law or best practices

● Work closely with the Sproutr leadership team to identify areas for process improvements and new initiatives related to employee engagement

● You are patient, emotionally intelligent, and flexible when life happens around you

Qualifications:

● 5+ years of full cycle recruiting, ideally in a fast-paced environment

● Experience working in the commercial insurance industry or comprehensive understanding of commercial insurance as it relates to the various types of roles and responsibilities

● Experience screening and assessing candidates across a variety of roles for technical and values-fit qualities

● A clear and persuasive communicator in articulating the employer brand to candidates, both verbally and in writing across various external platforms.

● Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations

Sproutr LLC exists to help founders, distributors, carriers, venture capital firms realize new insurance opportunities by delivering the tangible insurance assets needed to deliver products and programs thru experienced insurance practitioners with “doer/builder” skills to de-risk incremental innovation.
The founder has successfully led insurance business units and underwriting and product teams for Fortune 500 insurance Companies as well as holding executive positions within unicorn Insurtechs.

Compensation:

● Location: 100% Remote
● Up to 20 hours per week in a 1099/contract capacity
● Compensation range: $45-65/hour
● Contract duration: 6-12 months with potential to extend
● Additional financial assistance in providing the tools and subscriptions needed to perform the role
