Sproutr Names Jeff Breault Head of Insurance
Promotion affirms the firm's program management, actuarial, product development, compliance, and filing teams under one practitioner accountable for the Sproutr standard of work
Solebury, PA October 14, 2026. Sproutr, the insurance program advisory, design, development, and placement firm, today announced the promotion of Jeff Breault, CPCU, to Head of Insurance. Breault, previously the firm's Professional Services Practice Leader, leads the teams responsible for program management, actuarial work, product development, compliance, and filing across every Sproutr engagement.
In the role, Breault directs the professional services Sproutr performs for its clients. He sets the standards, priorities, and growth initiatives that determine the breadth of services the firm offers, and he is accountable for every insurance program and internal process meeting the standard of the Sproutr brand.

Breault joined Sproutr in November 2023 as the firm's fourth employee and has been accountable since for delivering what Sproutr promises its clients, on scope and with an ownership mentality. Program builders often arrive with a strong idea and limited experience in how a program is designed, priced, filed, and governed. Breault is an expert collaborator who synthesizes what a client asks for with what the engagement needs that no one has yet put into words. Breault brings nearly two decades of commercial lines experience at large carriers and early-stage insurtech companies. Before joining Sproutr he was a Director of Commercial Lines at Nationwide, where he led data analytics and pricing functions. He previously served as Head of Insurance Product at a commercial auto insurtech, where he introduced a first-of-its-kind utilization-based insurance product to market, and as an AVP of Underwriting at a commercial auto and specialty transportation insurer. He holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and a bachelor's degree in statistics from Grand Valley State University.
